Position Summary

The Business Development Manager will be responsible for the general oversight of all enterprise development activities of Spl.yt. Collaborating with the Chief Operating Officer and Marketing Director, the Business Development Manager’s primary role will be to drive new business for the company.


Responsibilities

  • Increase adoption of Spl.yt by collecting Letters of Intent from e-commerce owners
  • Develop a growth strategy focused both on financial gain and customer satisfaction
  • Arrange business meetings with e-commerce owners, consultants, and influencers
  • Prepare contracts, ensuring adherence to law-established rules and guidelines
  • Provide market feedback to the company leadership team regarding competitive offerings and prospects’ needs, and generate product development ideas
  • Planning and coordinating the implementation of business plans and the penetration of new markets
  • Forge strong relationships with clients and promoters
  • Groom entry-level staff to be valuable salespeople


Qualifications

  • 4+ years of working experience as a business development manager, sales executive, or in a relevant role
  • A Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Sales, or a relevant field
  • A proven track record of increasing revenue through lead generation
  • Proficiency in MS Office and CRM
  • Extensive experience in opportunity qualification, strategic proposal, and persuasive closing
  • Excellent negotiation skills and a proven track record of successfully pitching for new businesses
  • Proficiency in foreign languages is a plus
  • The ability to thrive in a fast-paced, rapidly evolving, and collaborative entrepreneurial environment
