Position Summary

The Business Development Intern is responsible for contributing to Spl.yt’s long-term business growth. Interns will report directly to the Business Development Manager and assist with any existing projects.


Responsibilities

  • Increase adoption of Spl.yt by collecting Letters of Intent from e-commerce owners
  • Qualify leads from marketing campaigns and contact potential clients through cold calls and emails
  • Present Spl.yt to potential clients
  • Proactively seek new business opportunities in the market
  • Provide market feedback to the company’s leadership team regarding competitive offerings and prospects’ needs, and generate product development ideas
  • Forge strong relationships with clients


Qualifications

  • Hands-on experience with multiple sales techniques
  • Experience with Google Suites and sales software
  • Understanding of sales performance metrics
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Ability to deliver engaging presentations
